in the wind

The wind farms outside of Palm Springs are some kindof gorgeous.

We go to Palm Springs several times a year, and these wind turbines about half an hour outside of town are my beacon in the desert, letting me know that good times and relaxation are only minutes away. After date shakes at Hadley’s, the wind farms are my second favorite part about the desert drive. They stretch for miles and are just awe-inspiring.

I knew the SECOND I pulled this Jetset Diaries maxi (currently on sale for less than $70 at asos!) from Haute and Borrowed that I wanted to shoot it out on these wind farms.   I’ve been obsessed with  H+B, and am getting all my friends hooked now too! Use code RAVAYNA  to try a month of their Socia-lite plan for $19 or  $50 off your first month of any plan.

It’s loud and breezy among the turbines for sure, but they do some magical work when it comes to making a long silky skirt dance in the breeze. A calm hair day is nearly impossible, but that’s just to be expected in a place like this. With creosote and rocks littering the landscape, it feels like you’re at the ends of the earth in the best possible way.
